It saddens me to announce the death of our beloved ARA Honorary Member, Dr. Ion Cepoi. He was an exceptional person and I feel blessed that I had the chance to meet him in person during the 38th ARA Congress in Pasadena.

“It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death, on the night of March 24th 2016, in Las Vegas, at the age of 92, of Jon Cepoi, ARA honorary member and ARA supporter, President of „Viitorul Roman” Society in Los Angeles for more than 20 years, the first President and cofounder with his wife of „Doina” Society in Las Vegas, member of numerous Romanian and American societies, a talented engineer, an investor and writer, a good friend of many great Romanians and a great Romanian himself.
Our hearts go out to Stella, his wife he loved so much and with who he shared the enthusiasm and dedication for the Romanian Cultural life in America.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 30, at 6:00 p.m. at 925 N Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas and will follow at Bunker Mortuary Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas.”

A trecut ceva timp, de la atacul informatic direct, de foarte rea-credinţă, prin care revista universală de creaţie şi atitudine culturală ARMONII CULTURALE (www.armoniiculturale.ro, înfiinţată la Adjud în februarie 2011), a fost desfiinţată aproape în totalitate. Dispariţia din spectrul online a acestei reviste, devenită în scurt timp valoroasă, prin numele care şi-au adus contribuţia la construirea acesteia, a constituit un real motiv de regret pentru cei peste 900 de colaboratori, de pe cinci continente. În perioada activităţii sale online, revista Armonii Culturale s-a constituit într-un pol pozitiv de atragere a scriitorilor valoroşi, atât din ţară, cât şi din diaspora..
